TS Grants Explained
Thorstarter Grants
The following is a brief breakdown of how Thorstarter seeds initial liquidity.
Initial seeding of XRUNE into AMM pools is split 50/50.
50% will be given as a grant to the Project being launched. 50% is assigned to the Thorstarter DAO.
This split aligns the interest of both the DAO as well as new projects using Thorstarter as an initial liquidity provisioning mechanism.
The following is a step by step breakdown of how this works:
Terms to know:
TKN = new token
Project = new asset
TS = Thorstarter
XRUNE = Thorstarter native token
Let’s break them down into simple steps.
1.
TKN will be sent to the TS wallet.
2.
XRUNE is matched 1:1 with TKN.
3.
TS creates a new AMM pool with XRUNE/TKN
4.
TS locks LP tokens in vesting contract
(this is to prevent massive dumping of XRUNE immediately after IDO)
5.
TKN LP tokens are sent back to Project’s wallet.
6.
Project can withdraw LP tokens after unlock, receiving both XRUNE and TKN.
Projects receive a grant of XRUNE tokens to help build early community or fund development costs.
